Backyard burning will open within the North Lincoln Fire and Rescue boundaries starting at 12:01 am on Saturday, September 30, 2023, with the following restrictions:

• Piles up to 3’x3’ require a permit from NLFR and can be obtained here: https://publicfiresafety.com/a/north-lincoln-fire-rescue-district-1/ 

• Piles larger than 3’x3’ need a permit from the Oregon Department of Forestry.  Please call 541-276-3491

• No backyard burning in the city limits of Lincoln City (Municipal Code 8.08.020).

NOTE: Escaped fires resulting in property damage or requiring suppression efforts, may result in fines and individual financial responsibility for damages caused.
